Position Overview

We are looking for a talented, goal-oriented individual to join our team for the position of Spot Clearing and Margin Services Administrator who will be responsible for the proper completion of the day-to-day operations of the respective department and ensuring high quality services.

Will have to support Clearing procedures, the End of Day processes and, also will have to execute accounting entries that are produced by On exchange transactions, reconciliation of related general ledger accounts, preparation of financial reports, participation in UATs and projects related to the Unit’s needs.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Processing transactions & Informing cooperating Clients about the ON-Exchange status of their trades.
• Accounting Entries – Mirroring and Reconciliation of General Accounts.
• Contact our Clients regarding their Trading/Clearing activity.
• Communication with Clients for the matching of orders.
• Monitoring of the Market Status and Bank Accounts entries.
• Ensures quality customer information.
• Communicates with customers (internal/external) and with Market entities (HELEX, ETEK, ASE, CSE, HENEX, etc.).
• End-of-day processes and communication.
• Observance of banking secrecy / Code of ethics.
• Solving issues and taking initiatives for the most efficient operation of the Unit.

You will be a great candidate if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field of study. A postgraduate degree will be considered as an additional qualification.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in Clearing Services will be considered an asset.
• Related professional qualifications completed or in progress will be highly appreciated. (Certification of relevant qualifications from Bank of Greece or Hellenic Capital Committee).
• Excellent command of Greek and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
