Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our International IT Core Banking & Integration Architecture Team, within our International IT Business Analysis & Applications Unit. 

By joining this role, you’ll be part of the International IT Business Analysis Team, and you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and providing services to Group subsidiaries across multiple countries (Cyprus, Bulgaria, Luxemburg), which may occasionally involve travel.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions between the product server-side components and customer systems. 

• Participate in the full life-cycle development process from product definition, through design, development, test, release and maintenance. 

• Write, debug and deploy code; deliver timely fixes. 

• Produce accurate and detailed technical design specifications. 

• Participate in ESB Integration Architecture design 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

• Relevant University degree, strong problem-solving skills (incl. first-level support) and fluency in Greek & English

• Strong experience in integration technologies & middleware, including ESB architectures, IBM ACE (AppConnect/IIB), IBM MQ / ActiveMQ and SOAP/REST Web Services
• Solid Java development background, with hands-on experience in XML, XSLT, JSON and server-side integrations
• Experience working with databases & systems, such as SQL Server or Oracle, and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms & security, including WebSphere, WebLogic and implementations using SSL/TLS
• Exposure to core banking systems, ideally T24, and good understanding of banking processes and software development in the financial sector (European environment is a plus)
