Position Overview

We are seeking for a qualified Shipping Branch Officer to join our Shipping Unit, part of our Corporate & Investment Banking Unit.

As a Shipping Branch Officer, you will be responsible for handling specialized shipping transactions for servicing our shipping clientele, overseeing the operations of our Shipping branch, handling internal and external inquires with correspondents and escalating when needed in cooperation with other Units of the Bank, that are responsible for servicing our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing shipping customers’ requests and ensuring a high level of service.
• Promptly exploring our customer needs and offering the best possible solutions and suggestions.
• Completing daily tasks of the specialized Shipping Branch, ensuring its smooth operation.
• Monitoring and investigating transactions, market developments and competition and inform customers.
• Carrying out banking operations within the framework of the procedures and practices set by the Bank.

You will be a great candidate if you have:

• A University degree in Finance, Shipping, Business Administration-just to name a few. Postgraduate studies will be considered as an additional asset.
• Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
• Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to recognize important information and identify risks.
