- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of risk infrastructure and market data inputs, including FX rates, volatilities, and interest rate curves, while supporting daily portfolio revaluation, collateral monitoring, and control processes.
- Assist with IFRS 9 staging and impairment processes for Eurobank Greece and subsidiaries, participate in IAS 39 hedge effectiveness assessments including macro and micro fair value hedging, and support IFRS 13 fair value hierarchy analysis for debt instruments and derivatives.
- Contribute to CVA/DVA calculations, including stressed metrics for ICAAP purposes, and prepare, review, and validate regulatory and management reporting, including COREP, AnaCredit, and other recurring deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate processes, particularly in areas currently supported by manual or legacy activities, and contribute to ongoing transformation initiatives.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Market Risk, Valuation Control, Treasury, Product Control, Finance, or a related function within banking or financial services.
- Hold a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative or business-related field. A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in a related area would be considered an advantage.
- Have a good understanding of fixed income and/or derivatives products, valuation concepts, and risk control processes.
- Have exposure to one or more of the following areas: hedge accounting, fair value hierarchy assessments, impairment processes, counterparty risk, or regulatory and management reporting within a banking environment.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and data handling tools; experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or other analytical tools would be considered an advantage.
- Bring a proactive and improvement-oriented mindset, with a strong interest in process enhancement, automation, and transformation initiatives.
