Position Overview
We are seeking for a Senior Projects Officer to join our Group Control, Projects, Subsidiaries Support & Restructuring, Group Finance.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of Projects team, which is responsible mainly for the coordination and execution of complex cross-divisional projects including cost containment projects, as well as the development of Group policies (other than accounting policies) that Group Finance function is involved.
As a Senior Projects Officer, you will be able to acquire extensive experience by contributing to the design and implementation of important cross-divisional Group Finance initiatives concerning the Bank’s /Group’s policies and affairs. The position offers an opportunity for interaction and exposure with various Group’s Business Units at management level and thus provides in depth understanding of the Bank’s and Group’s activities and financial performance.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Review the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) policy, monitor FTP implementation, and support related issues.
- Contribute to the annual budget/business plan process for FTP and capital profitability, and review operating capital/funding-related expenses against the budget.
- Participate in various cross-divisional Group Finance projects, including cost containment initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of prospectuses for equity and bond issues by the Bank or SPVs.
- Monitor external audit-related matters, such as independence, rotation, and tendering, ensuring compliance with Group policies and regulations.
- Coordinate day-to-day matters to ensure timely and proper completion of external audit engagements.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, advisory, or the auditing sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Postgraduate studies or a professional certification (e.g. ACCA or a similar qualification) will be considered an additional asset.
- Solid computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus.
- Advanced controlling and problem-solving abilities, accountability, strong teamwork skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Very good command of the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey data, commentaries, and clarifications clearly, concisely, and comprehensively.
- Engagement with Digital Accelerator learning modules (considered an important asset).
