Description
We are seeking for an experienced Senior Operational and Non-Financial Risk Officer to join our Operational and Non-Financial Risk Policies, Methods & Reporting Unit, under Group Operational and Non-Financial Risks, which is part of the Risk Management General Division.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of Group Operational and Non-Financial Risks, whose prime responsibility is to ensure the effective and consistent application of the Non-Financial Risk Management Policy, to oversee its implementation across the Group and to act as an overlaying coordinator for the harmonisation of 2LoD activities across the Group.
As a Senior Operational and Non-Financial Risk Officer, you will have the opportunity to enhance existing methodologies and non-financial risk reporting, as well as participate and ultimately lead key projects/initiatives for operational risk management. The position will involve exposure in a variety of banking activities, such as governance, frameworks, policies, procedures, reporting, methodologies and tools, thus obtaining valuable insights into the banking industry and the non-financial risk management practice.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the maintenance and evolution of the Group’s Non-Financial Risk Management Framework (including its supporting Policies and Guidelines), to keep abreast with the evolving regulatory environment and industry best practices
- Analyse existing and emerging non-financial risks, prepare comprehensive risk reporting and develop of risk reporting requirements at Group level
- Participate in the enhancement of non-financial risk tools and methods
- Participate in key projects and initiatives for non-financial risk management
- Conduct presentations, workshop and training sessions
You will be a great candidate for us if you have:
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience within an established organization in the Banking or consulting industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Risk Management or related disciplines
- Risk management certification
- Solid understanding of non-financial risk management
- Ability to prepare insightful reports for a wide audience (Senior Management, regulators, other stakeholders)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent command of the English and Greek language (both oral and written)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and organisational skills
- Good leadership and managerial skills, attentive to details, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
