Description

We are seeking for an experienced L&D professional to join our Learning Division, within our People Talents sector in Human Resources General Division.

The Learning division’s key mission is to continually upskill our people in order to support exceptional performance today, enhance people’s readiness for the future and act as driver for culture and mindset. We aim to create and sustain an advanced capability to learn, adapt and change constantly, and in order to do that we:  

  • Conduct extensive R&D on best practices and future skills in demand
  • Develop, evaluate & continually improve learning plans
  • Assess business needs & analyze learning needs
  • Create learning content and relevant solutions, ensuring learning interventions are successful
  • Implement all learning activity
  • Update LMS functionalities so as to maximize LX, and
  • Encourage all employees to take ownership for self-development through learning.

As a Senior Learning & Development expert, you will contribute to the design of relevant strategies & solutions within the above framework.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. (Co-)Create learning content using sound learning design principles and adult learning theories, ensuring content is aligned with needs analysis and learning solution design strategy (emphasis on digital learning)
  2. Edit content when required to maintain its impact, accuracy and relevance
  3. Design & champion (digital) interactive sessions/workshops
  4. Create, communicate and deliver messages for L&D and learning solutions that demonstrate value/impact for the business and its people
  5. Demonstrate & implement performance consulting skills in working with stakeholders to explore performance results, identify performance challenges & opportunities worthy of investing and connect back with learning solutions
  6. Establish links between business performance & learning, measure and monitor learning impact (KPIs)
  7. Monitor the industry for developments in (digital or face to face) learning, identifying & incorporating best practices and technology solutions
  8. Maintain budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants

 

You will be a great candidate for us if you:

  • Hold a BSc/BA in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Psychology or a related field and/or a Postgraduate degree in these fields
  • Have proven experience in learning (4-6 years), especially in learning design, within an established organization in Banking, Telecoms, FMCGs, IT or Consulting / Learning provider firm 
  • Have any related professional qualification (e.g. CIPD) completed or in progress (highly appreciated)
  • Have experience in project management and budgeting
  • Have a very good knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning tools (e.g. authoring tools)  
  • Have adaptability in new ways of working (e.g. remote, agile) & knowledge in human centered design (e.g. design thinking methodology)
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sharp business acumen
  • Have the ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • Have a collaborative spirit, agility and initiative
  • Have a fluency in English
