Position Overview

We are seeking for a passionate, experienced Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join our Group Market & Counterparty Risk Unit (GMCRU) within the Group’s Risk Management General Division. As a senior Financial Risk Analyst, you will add value through developing and implementing demanding projects across the Sector’s responsibilities with main focus on Counterparty Credit Risk.

 

 Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To monitor, report, assess and control the Counterparty Credit risk and Country Risk on a Group level together with the established team of experts
  • To design, develop and implement methodologies and policies that support the adequate and timely management of these risks in the Group
  • To design, develop, test, and implement tools, reports and solutions by using the Bank’s established systems and a combination of software and database languages
  • Interact with the front office and Senior Management in order to communicate the Country Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk exposures and the utilization of the relevant limits
  • To participate on Bank-wide projects on the areas on Country Risk, Counterparty Risk, Issuer Risk
  • To deploy advanced presentations including data visualization dashboards for the management and the committees and supporting the decision-making process
  • To work with Bank’s IT, other internal and external teams of experienced officers to support the establishment and operation of the existed and the new tools and systems

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Own a degree on Finance, Risk Management, Financial Engineering or Modelling, Maths/Physics, Engineering, IT or other strong analytical studies with solid programming skills in at least one language such as Python, C#, R, advanced VBA etc.
  • Have a background in a position related to Counterparty Credit Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, financial risk analysis and control, financial risk modelling, with minimum 3 years of experience on at least one of these areas.
  • A combination of two degrees on analytical areas and experience on Risk Management / Financial Analysis is highly desirable
  • Have a strong analytical background
  • Have strong communication, influencing and presentation skills and
  • Can establish a strong reputation, trust and manage working relationship with key stakeholders
