Position Overview

We are seeking for dynamic Senior Data Specialist to join our Group Model & Data Validation Unit. 

By joining this role, you will play a pivotal part in challenging and improving data architecture and quality across the bank’s analytics ecosystem—ensuring compliance with BCBS 239 principles—while also contributing to the development and validation of AI models. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Conduct assessments, focusing on improvement of data quality and overall data aggregation and reporting architecture 

• Challenge current procedures and help shape innovative practices on data management and business intelligence 

• Participate in the development and/or validation of AI models 

• Work with our modern, scalable analytics infrastructure to design automated controls and reporting 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or hybrid data/AI role—preferably in banking or consulting 

• BSc degree in a data, IT, or engineering-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) 

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark for developing robust data pipelines, processing large-scale datasets, and supporting cloud-based analytics workflows 

• Worked on Cloud platforms like Azure Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake 

• Solid understanding of Data Architecture and Traceability 

• Familiarity with BCBS 239 principles and data governance best practices 

• Fluency in English language
