Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Sourcing & Modeling Division within the Remedial and Servicing Strategy Advisory (RSSA) function.
The role sits at the intersection of data, transactions, and strategy, supporting the execution of portfolio transactions and managing post-closing activities, such as performance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
You will take ownership of complex datasets and data preparation and analysis underpinning transaction execution, strategic decision-making, and regulatory compliance. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment and enjoys solving complex, unstructured problems.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Own end-to-end data workflows supporting transaction processes, including extraction, validation, analysis, and preparation
- Design, structure, and maintain data environments (e.g., RSS Cloud, RR DataMart) to support transaction execution and monitoring
- Analyze datasets and models to identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities, and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal divisions (Finance, Risk, IT, etc.) to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and timely delivery
- Prepare clear, structured materials for internal reporting, regulatory requirements, and transaction purposes
- Coordinate meetings, document key outcomes, and track follow-up actions and deliverables
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data and transaction-related issues with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have relevant experience in data analysis, banking, finance, or advisory environments, with demonstrated capability to work in complex and demanding settings
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Sciences, or Business Administration (postgraduate studies will be considered an asset)
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and programming languages such as Python and/or R
- Have experience working with Databricks, Microsoft Azure ecosystems, and advanced MS Office tools, particularly Excel
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks and deliver under tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively in both Greek and English, conveying complex topics clearly while maintaining a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration across teams
- Experience in securitization or knowledge of loans/NPE-related business, systems, or operations will be considered an advantage
