Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Group Credit Risk Capital Adequacy Control Sector within our Risk Management Unit.
By joining this role, you will be part of the Risk Analytics and Corporate Rating Models team, responsible for the development and maintenance of credit risk models, as well as the production of portfolio risk reports at Group level.
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to major bank-wide initiatives and projects. You will assess risk levels and mitigation strategies by applying advanced quantitative methodologies, data analytics, and modern risk management tools.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate credit risk models in line with internal governance standards and industry best practices.
- Contribute to large-scale Risk Management projects, such as Stress Testing, Business/NPE Planning, and ICAAP, ensuring the robustness of modelling components.
- Conduct portfolio analytics and prepare regular risk reports for senior management committees, internal/external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Perform data extraction, preparation, and validation activities to support model development and portfolio analysis, ensuring data quality and consistency through comprehensive reconciliation checks.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the model development lifecycle, including the Model Validation Unit, Internal Audit, Supervisory Authorities, Business Units, and other Risk Management teams.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in credit risk analysis/modeling.
- Hold a Bachelor and postgraduate degrees in quantitative field of study.
- Are proficient user of at least two of the following programming languages: SQL, Python, R or SAS.
- Are excellent user of MS Excel, Power BI will be considered a plus.
- Have familiarity with Big Data technologies (i.e. Azure cloud environment, Databricks, PySpark etc.).
- Are fluent in English language.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
