Position Overview

We are seeking for a Senior Credit Control Analyst to join our Credit Policies & Methodologies Unit within the Group Credit Control of Risk Management General Division.

 

By joining this role, you will be part of Group Credit Control, the main responsibilities of which are to facilitate the implementation of a sound credit risk management framework throughout the Group. It is responsible for formulating credit policies and monitoring their compliance, advising on regulatory developments and supervisory expectations, identifying and monitoring of credit risks of the Bank, on a solo and consolidated basis and reporting to the Management.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing, updating, and presenting policies for approval under the Group Credit Control Unit’s responsibility.
  • Reviewing the design and content of credit risk-related policies, procedures, and documents of Wholesale Banking prepared by other areas of the Bank, including international subsidiaries.
  • Collaborating with appropriate team associates (Business Units, Loan Administration, Servicer) on issues related to the implementation or amendments of Credit Risk policies.
  • Participating in various credit risk projects and other special projects (e.g., On Site Inspections (OSI) exercises) related to credit risk issues for the wholesale portfolio.
  • Acting as the Group Risk’s point of reference regarding any Wholesale Banking credit risk matters for all interested areas.

 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a quantitative field of study. Postgraduate degrees will be considered an additional qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in credit underwriting or as relationship officer for Corporate clients.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • A strong background in Credit Risk Management
  • Credit risk experience of Loans Business segments of Wholesale Banking.
  • The ability to establish a strong reputation, build trust, and manage working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
