Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Consumer Lending Product Development Officer to join our Consumer Lending Products unit, within the Individual Banking Division.
By joining us, you will contribute to the development and management of consumer loan products (personal loans, & retailer loans), supporting the strategic roadmap set by the Consumer Loans Head. You will be involved in pricing, profitability analysis, market monitoring, new product development and cross-functional coordination to ensure the competitiveness and performance of our Consumer Lending offerings.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Product Development & Management: Support the design, enhancement, and lifecycle management of consumer loan products, processes, and documentation.
- Pricing & Profitability Analysis: Prepare pricing proposals, monitor product profitability, and track key performance indicators (e.g., loan origination, approval rates, NPL ratios).
- Market & Competition Monitoring: Analyze market trends and competitor practices to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Strategic Proposals: Prepare presentations and documentation for new product ideas, modifications, and commercial initiatives to be reviewed by senior management and committees.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Risk, Operations, Legal), external partners, and sales channels to ensure successful product rollout and execution.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have 3–5 years of relevant experience in Banking, Consulting, or a similar industry, ideally with exposure to consumer lending.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Have experience in product development, financial analysis, or performance monitoring.
- Are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a client-centric mindset.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a data-results approach.
- Are proficient in spoken & written English.
- Are able to work in cross-functional teams under pressure & tight deadlines.
