Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Private Banker to join our Group Private Banking unit, in Thessaloniki.
By joining this role, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for building, managing and deepening relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. You will understand clients' wealth management and banking needs, identify opportunities across the full private banking platform, and coordinate with relevant specialists to deliver tailored solutions that preserve and grow client wealth.
The role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to build trusted client relationships, and a commitment to the highest standards of compliance, suitability and service excellence.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their personal, family and business priorities and translating them into actionable financial strategies.
- Identify client needs across investments, deposits, financing and wealth planning, and coordinate with relevant specialists to deliver solutions aligned with each client’s risk profile and objectives.
- Actively identify and win new business opportunities through referrals, networking and market development initiatives.
- Source, approach and convert prospects into profitable long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate effectively with Advisory, Investment, Credit, Product and Support teams to deliver seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, suitability rules and AML standards in all client interactions.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; postgraduate studies are considered an asset.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or affluent client coverage with a proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.
- Hold relevant professional certifications.
- Combine commercial drive with excellent relationship management, influencing and communication skills.
- Are fluent in Greek and English and able to communicate confidently with demanding clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate high integrity, sound judgment, professionalism and a client-centric mindset.
