Position Overview
We are seeking for a Portfolio Analyst in investment management to join our Investments & Corporate Strategy Unit within Eurobank Asset Management MFMC.
The Investments & Corporate Strategy Unit is responsible for the supervision and implementation of the investment strategy through the effective management of the portfolios of institutional, discretionary and retail clients, in line with compliance with External/Internal Regulations and the Code of Ethics.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Participation both in the formation of the fixed-income investment policy and in assisting the management of the portfolios based on the investment restrictions per mandate as set by the Capital Markets Committee or/ and to the contractual terms (mandate) of the respective portfolio.
- Monitoring returns of portfolios under management, benchmarks and risk metrics.
- Assisting in the execution of transactions of various instruments in the portfolios.
- Booking transactions in internal front office systems and ensuring smooth flow to middle/back office.
- Managing and assisting in the cash and liquidity needs of portfolios.
- Facilitating investment committees and minutes thereof
- Closely following macro developments and economic releases, maintaining selected variables in internal systems and analyzing fixed income investments in the credit and rates universe.
- Improving, maintaining and monitoring analytics and valuation metrics/models in EXCEL or Bloomberg or other internal system
- Regular and ad hoc market internal reports.
- Monitoring performance attribution and identifying positive and negative portfolio contribution elements.
- Actively Contributing to investment strategy ideas/calls.
- Implementing ESG policies.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or other quantitative field of study. A postgraduate degree will be considered as an additional qualification
- Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience in Asset Management business.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (incl. quantitative and financial modelling skills, Excel/VBA).
- Experience in programming (like SQL, R, Python ) will be considered as an additional qualification.
- Certification from Bank of Greece or HCMC (C or D) will be considered as an additional qualification.
- Advanced Bloomberg user will be considered as an additional qualification.
- Analytical, reporting and data visualization skills.
- Passion about investing.
- Strong interpersonal an communication skills, collaborative spirit, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

- Proficiency in programming (like SQL, R, Python ) will be considered as an additional qualification
- Certification from Bank of Greece or HCMC (C or D) will be considered as an additional qualification
- Are an advanced Bloomberg user will be considered as an additional qualification
- Have advanced analytical, reporting and data visualization skills
- Are fluent in English language
- Have strong written/verbal communication skills
- Have ability to set and meet deadlines and also to work in high-pressure situations
- Are passionate about investing
