Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Administrator – FX Money Market & OTC Derivatives to join our Markets & Treasury Back Office Unit within Markets & Funds Operations. This unit is responsible for the settlement of Markets & Treasury transactions (i.e., Money Market, Bonds, OTC Derivatives) for Eurobank Athens and international subsidiaries.

By joining this role, you will be part of the FX, Money Market, and OTC Derivatives Operations team, responsible for various aspects of day-to-day processing and settlement of Markets & Treasury transactions.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Ensure complete and accurate capturing of transactions in the systems
• Generate and transmit Swift messages for transaction settlements
• Record and post accounting entries accurately

• Liaise with counterparties to resolve transaction discrepancies and ensure smooth settlements
• Prepare transaction confirmations
• Identify and resolve daily workflow issues efficiently
• Participate in projects to improve operational processes and systems

You will be a great candidate if you:

• Hold a Bachelor's and/or a postgraduate degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field
• Bring professional experience in financial operations, particularly in Money Market and OTC Derivatives transactions
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of investment products and financial markets
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience working with financial software systems
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, adaptability, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
