Position Overview

We are seeking a talented, goal-oriented individual, with solid knowledge of Finance/Accounting, to join our Markets Reporting & Accounting Services team within Eurobank’s Markets & Funds Operations. As a member of the Markets Reporting & Accounting Services team, you will be mainly responsible for the monitoring and reporting of Markets & Treasury related activity profit and loss (P/L).

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Reporting daily/monthly of Markets & Treasury P/L per desk, product (i.e. Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Forwards, FX Options, FX Swaps, Placings/Takings etc.) and P/L item (i.e. trading income, interest income, commissions).
  • Reconciling daily/monthly the Bank’s P/L accounts related to Markets & Treasury transactions – investigating discrepancies.
  • Verifying daily the Bank’s FX Position.
  • Preparing various periodic reports & analyses related to Treasury Products P/L.
  • Participating in projects related to P/L accounting & reporting of Markets & Treasury related activity – providing specifications & executing user acceptance tests.

 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor's and/or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accountant or a quantitative field of study.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Solid understanding of Treasury Products and IFRS accounting.
  • Any relevant professional qualification (CFA, ACCA) will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
