Position Overview

We are seeking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Services Orchestration Applications part of or within our Customer Journeys Automation Platforms.

By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Services Orchestration Applications team, which is responsible for the maintenance, support and development of APIs and adaptation/integration applications that enable the flow of information between various internal or external systems.

As a Software Engineer you will develop new features and expand functionality of existing applications, while you will also work with the latest technologies (AKS, Kubernetes) to build new applications. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain Java based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Write clean, well-designed and maintainable Java code following best practices and coding standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing Java applications.
• Able to work and intervene on the whole life cycle of the software.

You will be a great candidate if you:

• Have more than 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold a bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Are Proficient in Java, Hibernate, Git, Maven, CI/CD, SQL Server.
• Have familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and practices, including AI coding assistants, code generation, testing, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and their integration into enterprise applications will be considered a strong advantage. 
• Are experienced in containerized application development.
• Have solid understanding of Software Design Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), SOAP Web Services and Rest APIs.
• Previous experience in DB2, Jboss EAP Server, Azure will be highly appreciated.
• Are fluent in English language. 
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
