Position Overview

The IT Strategy Specialist is responsible to:

• Assist key initiatives that need to be undertaken to formulate and enable IT Strategy
• Assist the analysis and selection of strategic sourcing options in order to support more-informed sourcing decision making by IT Management
• Maintain and continuous improvement the IT Operating Model (certified by ISO 20000)
• Maintain the overall framework for the definition and evolution of the IT Services Catalogue and corresponding SLAs

The position offers the opportunity to accelerate one's knowledge of IT Business Model including, IT Strategy formulation, IT Operating Model and IT Service Management. IT Strategy Analysts may enhance their project management, communication & negotiation capabilities as well as improve presentation skills and business acumen.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Participate in the formulation of IT Strategy in cooperation with the Group IT and Business Units
• Facilitate and coordinate the analysis of IT costs structures and metrics of IT services and to benchmark the IT performance.
• Analyse and assess selected sourcing option to support IT Management in decision making
• Facilitate and coordinate the development and maintenance of IT governance, methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the enterprise
• Monitor and implement continuous-improvement programs for the IT organization.
• Stays current with developments in new market trends and innovations in technology and the governance of enterprise IT.

You will be a great candidate if you:

• have a BSc/BA or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• have worked for 5 or more years in the IT industry
• possess high level of analytical and synthetic thinking in the framework of data processing and interpretation
• have a problem-solving aptitude in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• have team spirit with emphasis on the development of collaboration
• can present and write well, often towards high-level executives
• ISO 20000 experience or relevant frameworks will be considered an asset
• Project management skills will be considered an asset
• Experience in Banking industry will be considered an asset
• command the English language excellently
