We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Projects Portfolio Monitoring & Control Analyst to join the Group IT Portfolio Management unit within the Group IT Governance.
The Group IT Portfolio Management works horizontally within IT, overseeing and managing the Portfolio of the Bank’s IT Projects, coordinating the respective delivery plans and monitoring performance execution. Its overall mission entails the alignment of the organization’s business strategy, priorities and goals with the IT delivery.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Collect and analyze Project and Resource data to identify related trends and patterns. Synthesize results and identify key insights.
- Formulate and maintain IT Portfolio performance metrics and KPIs.
- Develop insightful reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting decision-making.
- Perform the preprocessing and validation required to optimize data analysis. Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency across various sources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as Project Managers and Business Analysts) to identify respective data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in data workflows within the projects’ lifecycle. Establish and maintain communication of process changes to all stakeholders.
- Effectively utilize the IT Project Portfolio Management tool and contribute to designing new functionalities and reports, enhancing the IT Portfolio Management unit’s functions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- BSc/BA or MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience 1 - 3 years in data and/or business analysis.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Possess expertise in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Familiarity with statistical techniques will be considered an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (Greek & English).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Results-driven mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and ideally some exposure to portfolio management or financial analysis.
- Learning mindset, a drive for impactful results, and the ability to build trust, influence others, and simplify complexity.
