Position Overview

We are seeking a Network & Systems Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure & Security Team of Eurobank Equities Investment Firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and support of the organization's network and security infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical business systems and services.

As part of our technology team, you will contribute to maintaining a highly available and secure environment that supports the firm's trading, operational, and business activities.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
  • Managing and maintaining network security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and remote access platforms.
  • Monitoring network, and security performance to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
  • Participating in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Cooperating with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for infrastructure improvements and operational support.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and operational guidelines.

 

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Hold a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Network and Systems Administration.
  • Have strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPN technologies, and network security principles.
  • Have experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar).
  • Possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Microsoft,or related certifications.
  • Experience in financial services, trading environments, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, and SIEM solutions.
