Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT Infrastructure Domain Architect to join our Group IT.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Group IT Operations and will be responsible for designing, analyzing & delivering our infrastructure solutions by, architecting & delivering modern technologies, embedding security best practices in every implementation, maintaining the uninterrupted operations of our banking services & platforms, either hosted in our own DC premises or on public cloud providers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
· Leading the architecture and deployment of new or existing cutting-edge technologies to improve ways of working and overall efficiency of our standards and security frameworks; deep experience on both on-premises and cloud technologies (including OSs, virtualization, databases security, networking, firewalling, cloud security (Azure and AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies such as Openshift/Kubernetes
· Working closely with the Group IT Security, International IT and Group IT teams for the implementation of new or existing technologies, policies and procedures, ensuring IT systems availability and leading relevant initiatives
· Ensuring infrastructure and operational services adhere to agreed-upon security and service levels, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of security implementations
· Understanding of infrastructure architecture and experience on coordinating complex cross functional IT projects with large teams that will work with
You will be a great candidate if you have:
· Strong experience of Application Servers implementation (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and Advance Architecture Design knowledge (2Tier/3Tier Applications)
· Deep knowledge of Windows & Linux Operating Systems and above.
· Domain Services medium/advanced knowledge
· Knowledge of RDBMs (SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.) and connectivity between Application and Database
· Basic Knowledge of networking (Firewall, Load Balancing, Routing)
· Good Knowledge of Hypervisors standards (VMWare/Hyper-V)
· Technical Project Management skills (required for Units’ projects coordination)
· More than 4 years of relevant professional experience within an established organization in Banking, or consulting industry; experience on collaborating and presenting to top management
· A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field of study
· Are fluent in Greek and English languages
In addition and preferable we would like you to have extensive knowledge of:
· System coding and scripting for administration purposes, like python, perl, go etc.
· Java scripting & Rest API knowledge.
· Usage of Jira ticketing tool.
· A very good knowledge of cloud services like MS Azure, Amazon, IBM Bluemix etc
· Administer and configure container distributing platform as Docker and also container orchestration systems as Kubernetes.
