Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT Incident Management Officer to join our Group IT. By joining this role, you’ll be part of Group IT Operations, responsible for implementing our IT strategy, delivering modern technologies, embedding security best practices, and maintaining uninterrupted operations of our banking services and platforms, hosted either in our DC premises or on public cloud providers.

As an IT Incident Management Officer, your hands-on role will focus on problem solving, while ensuring the seamless operations of Group IT services. You will lead new technology implementations to continuously improve our IT landscape, working closely with Group IT and local subsidiaries' teams to ensure service resilience and availability.

As a key contributor, you will help ensure IT Services Operational Excellence while driving innovation and optimization within our IT environment.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure the stability of services across both on-premises (VMWare, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS/GCP).
  • Drive innovation by supporting containerization technologies (OpenShift/Kubernetes), virtualization standards, modern application servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat), and secure networking practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient, secure, and high-performing banking platforms and infrastructure—hosted both in data centers and public clouds.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and complex troubleshooting efforts, ensuring long-term resolution strategies that improve system reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance with Group IT security policies through robust monitoring, patch management, and automation strategies.
  • Champion the use of enterprise-grade monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Azure Monitoring, ManageEngine, CMDB suites) to streamline incident and asset lifecycle management.
  • Promote ITIL best practices (Change, Patch, Incident & Problem Management) and service governance across the IT Operations landscape.

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Stand out with complex problem-solving skills and a structured way of thinking to approach the desired result in different ways.
  • Possess knowledge in managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure technologies, including security controls, hypervisors, databases, containerized environments, DNS, DHCP, AD etc.
  • Understand and apply modern security tools and frameworks such as EDR, SIEM, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
  • Lead with a collaborative mindset, mentoring peers and communicating effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
  • Excel at planning and executing IT projects within deadlines.
  • Communicate fluently in English and build trust through a confident, reliable presence when working with teams and top management.
