Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Large Corporate Portfolio Administration Unit, part of the CIB Legal Documentation & Collaterals Unit within Group Loan Administration.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end loan administration lifecycle of Large Corporate bilateral financing. You will lead two core teams (Legal Documentation & Collaterals and Drawdown), ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of Large Corporate bilateral loans, including funding, maintenance, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop, implement, and refine policies, procedures, and controls to ensure operational efficiency, risk management, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Administration team (Legal Documentation/Agency, Collaterals & Drawdown), fostering a high-performing culture and professional growth.
- Ensure the accurate preparation, execution, and monitoring of loan documentation, collaterals, contractual terms and agency functions, including covenants and undertakings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Relationship Managers, clients, legal advisors, auditors and other stakeholders, facilitating smooth loan transactions and resolving complex issues, providing reporting and supporting strategic lending goals.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have at least 8–10 years of professional experience in loan administration, corporate lending, or legal documentation, including hands-on experience in Loan Agency.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; postgraduate studies will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Show deep understanding of loan administration processes, legal documentation, loan agency functions (syndicated and/or bilateral), and collateral management.
- Apply solid financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Greek, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Act with integrity, accountability, and strategic thinking, consistently aligning with the Bank’s objectives.
