Position Overview
We are seeking an executive to act as Head of Business Development in our Sales Division within Eurobank Asset Management MFMC.
The position is responsible for mapping and approaching various categories of institutional clients, both domestic and international, with the objective of promoting the Company’s products and services. This role entails the development and servicing of, mainly, external (non-Eurobank) distribution networks for the Company’s products in Greece and abroad, as well as the promotion to potential institutional clients of the Company’s services and products.
In parallel, is responsible for supporting the promotion of the UCITS established by the Company in Luxembourg and for promoting the white-labelling service—tailor-made mutual funds—combined with risk management and custodian services, addressing the specific investment needs of institutional clients.
Finally, is responsible for participating in tenders for the selection of external asset managers to whom the management of institutional portfolios may be outsourced, by preparing and overseeing the relevant RFPs (Request For Proposals). The role also includes coordinating presentations to institutional clients regarding the occupational pension fund framework and participating in major projects that are related to Sales Division.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Map and engage with potential clients either directly or through introducers in specific geographic regions (Private Banks and commercial banks in general, Family Offices, Pension / Insurance Funds, Insurance Companies, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Fund Selectors, Foundations and Endowments, Institutional Investment Consultants, Independent Financial Advisors).
- Coordinate actions to promote the Group’s products and services to clients (conducting studies, preparing proposals) in Greece and abroad, in collaboration with the Head of Institutional Sales and the Head of Retail Sales.
- Responsible for servicing and strengthening relationships with existing institutional clients
- Oversee the preparation of printed marketing materials to better inform and engage existing and potential clients and distribution networks on the Company’s structure, operations, and product/service offerings.
- Participate in tenders for the selection of external asset managers through the preparation and submission of RFPs (Requests For Proposals).
- Monitor RFPs published in international media and participate in those selecting specific fund strategies.
- Organize presentations to institutional clients regarding the occupational pension fund framework.
- Responsible for promoting and regularly updating existing fund management products on specialized international platforms.
- Organize and monitor the promotion of mutual funds managed by the Company through participation in specialized conferences.
- Participate in such conferences to promote the mutual funds managed by the Company.
- Monitor developments in the regulatory and legal framework governing the creation and distribution of mutual funds in Greece, Luxembourg, and other countries.
- Contribute to the drafting of agreements
- Engage with potential institutional clients and third-party networks (e.g. insurance and brokerage firms) to promote the Company’s products through their channels.
- Take initiatives to improve the operational efficiency of the Division through automation and other enhancement projects
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Own a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field of study. A relevant postgraduate degree will be considered as an additional qualification
- Relevant professional experience of more than 10 years
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office suite (esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Are fluent in English language
- Have strong written/verbal communication skills
- Have ability to set and meet deadlines and to work in high-pressure situations
- Have advanced analytical, reporting and data visualization skills
