Position Overview

We are seeking for a Head of Budget, Invoice Handling and MIS, a critical role within the Procurement department, responsible for overseeing the organization’s budgeting process, managing invoicing operations, and ensuring effective handling of fixed assets.

By joining this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic financial planning. The incumbent will lead 2 departments, Budget & MIS and Invoice Handling & Fixed Assets Management, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process (OpEx & CapEx), collaborating with departmental heads to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying variances and providing actionable insights while preparing detailed budget reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice generation and processing while resolving invoicing discrepancies and issues promptly, liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain invoicing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive fixed assets register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded and classified while overseeing the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in budgeting / invoicing / FA management and leverage financial software and tools to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience and expertise in finance, with a focus on budgeting and invoicing. At least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Hold a BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in financial modeling and variance analysis.
  • Are proficient in the MS Office suite and have knowledge on ERP (i.e. SAP).
  • Are fluent in the English language.
  • Have the ability to communicate well and collaborate smoothly within the team and other Bank Units
  • Have in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices related to budgeting, invoicing, and fixed assets.
