Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and well-organized Senior Officer to join the Group Company Secretariat Unit of the Bank. As a member of this Team, you will support Management on critical strategic and institutional matters, such as Board of Directors meetings, share capital increases or decreases, mergers, investments, due diligence checks, and relations with supervisory authorities.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the organization and follow-up of meetings of the Board of Directors, Committees and Executive Committees
- Providing advisory support to the Chairman of the Board, non-executive members, the CEO, and General Management on governance, strategy, and policy matters
- Assisting in the drafting, review, and documentation of minutes and other records in line with regulatory requirements
- Supporting Group subsidiaries in enhancing their corporate governance framework, in alignment with Eurobank’s standards
- Actively monitoring developments in legislation and the regulatory environment (SSM, EBA, ESG, etc.) and proactively updating Management and the Board
- Contributing to the digitalization and simplification of processes (such as the development of a governance app to better organize corporate information at Group level)
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in Board Secretariat support, corporate governance or regulatory compliance roles, including experience in managing institutional meetings, internal governance documentation, and communication with senior executives
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, or Business Administration
- A Master’s degree (MSc) in Corporate Governance, Economics, Law, Regulatory Compliance, or Business Administration will be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Ability to understand corporate law and governance matters
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail and quality, initiative, and ability to manage multiple topics methodically, with empathy and professional composure
- Strong teamwork skills, integrity, and strict adherence to confidentiality and discreet handling of sensitive information
