Position Overview
We are seeking an International Markets Sales & Derivatives Trader to join the International Markets Desk within Eurobank Equities.

You will serve private and institutional clients across international stock and derivatives markets, combining order execution, market communication and relationship development. 

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Monitor international markets, client positions and market-moving events; explain market dynamics, essential fundamental metrics, approved house views and actionable ideas, and discuss relevant proposals in line with clients’ needs and applicable rules.
• Execute client orders in stocks and derivatives accurately and promptly, using the firm’s trading systems and platforms; support clients with related investment and trading requests.
• Onboard, develop and retain client relationships, build a valuable client portfolio, identify new business opportunities and attract valuable clients, including from competing firms; work toward ambitious sales and budget targets.
• Deliver engaging, clear client communication; explain research picks and strategy, demonstrate and train clients on EurobankTrader.gr, and handle demanding or difficult conversations with composure, patience and professionalism.
• Manage the desk’s daily administration and provide end-to-end support for clients, including processing corporate actions, keeping desk files and records up to date, coordinating client cash transfers and monitoring cash flows, managing margin calls, and sending timely alerts after significant market moves. Address EurobankTrader platform requests and client complaints promptly and professionally, and resolve other administrative issues by liaising with the relevant internal teams so clients receive complete, coordinated support.
• Collaborate closely across the International Markets Desk and other desks (research, operations). Coordinate client coverage, share market information and deliver reliable service in line with internal procedures, ethics and compliance requirements.

You will be a great candidate if you: 

• Have 1–5 years of relevant client-facing experience. Experience in a stock brokerage firm is especially relevant; experience in buy-side investments more broadly is also valued.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Investment or another relevant field. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Hold relevant Hellenic Capital Market Commission certifications for stock trading and derivatives, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Have a genuine passion for international markets and a strong understanding of market dynamics, with confidence using essential fundamental metrics and explaining what they mean to clients.
• Bring strong sales instincts, resilience under pressure and a record of high-quality client service. Evidence of winning or retaining clients, achieving sales targets or growing a valuable client portfolio is an advantage.
• Are personable, engaging and an excellent communicator. You build rapport, listen carefully, explain ideas clearly in conversation and in writing, and remain warm and composed when conversations become challenging.
• Are a tech-savvy user of trading platforms and digital tools; hands-on Bloomberg experience is a strong advantage. Fluency in English is required, and international work or study experience is a plus.
• Bring a cooperative, approachable team attitude, high ethical standards and a strong commitment to compliance. A client portfolio, especially one including high-net-worth or otherwise valuable clients, is an advantage. You are available to work the desk’s rotating eight-hour shifts.
