Position Overview
We are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Group Financial Reporting part of Accounting, Group Accounting Policy & Financial Reporting, Group Finance.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Group Financial Reporting, which is responsible mainly for the preparation of the annual/ interim financial reports in accordance with the statutory framework as in force. Ensures that financial statements provide complete, accurate, timely and relevant information to all interested parties in the context of applicable IFRS.
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be able to acquire extensive knowledge in the area of financial statements, consolidation accounting and financial reporting issues. The position offers an opportunity for interaction and exposure with various Group’s areas, providing an in depth understanding of its business and performance.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Review and monitor of balance sheet accounts, maintenance and development of control reports
- Preparation of annual/interim Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS/ Annual Financial Report in compliance with ESEF requirements
- Review of subsidiaries’ submissions to Head Office
- Preparation of financial analyses submitted to management/ “internal” recipients
- Handling of requests from external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Involvement in complex accounting (incl. consolidation), IFRS disclosures and other financial reporting issues
- Participation in IT-related projects for automating and simplifying the financial reporting procedures
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- Minimum 1-2 years previous working experience in the area of financial reporting, accounting or auditing
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- A related professional qualification (ACCA, or similar) completed or in progress will be highly appreciated
- Very good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation accounting
- Advanced controlling and problem-solving abilities, accountability, strong teamworking skills and a results- oriented mindset
- Proficiency of the MS Office suite: Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); knowledge of financial reporting S/W will be considered an asset
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to meet deadlines, and handle pressure especially in peak periods
- Fluency in English language
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and deliver information (data – commentaries / clarifications etc) in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude
