Description

We are seeking for a Financial & Business Reporting Analyst to join our Group Financial Analysis & Profitability Reporting part of Group Financial Analysis, Planning & Regulatory Reporting, Group Finance.

 

By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Group Financial Analysis & Profitability Reporting, which is responsible for providing financial and business information regarding Group operating results and other profitability and performance measurement to the Management and the Bus, which is integral to the identification, presentation, and interpretation of financial results and to strategy formulation, planning activities, control and decision making by the Management and the Units.

As a Financial & Business Reporting Analyst you will be able to acquire extensive knowledge on the area of financial / business analysis, on a business Unit and product basis. The position offers an opportunity for interaction and exposure with various Group’s areas thereafter provides in depth understanding of the Bank’s business and performance.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Participate in the preparation of Financial and Business results and various analyses, emphasis on Value Business Management methodology or else Business Units Segmental performance of Profit & Loss, Balance sheet and various KPIs; information submitted to the Management, Business Units Head and to other parties for external reporting purposes upon areas of concentration.
  • Participate in the preparation of Interim & annual report notes upon areas of responsibility.
  • Ad hoc projects upon Financial, Business reporting, and Management or Market needs.
  • Evaluate business needs and identify areas with significant risk and improvement necessities (eg. reporting upgrades, further automations / reconciliation procedures).

 

You will be a great candidate for this role if you have:

  • Anchor Minimum of 5 years previous working experience in the area of financial or management reporting, analytical financial & business analysis.
  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Postgraduate studies or Professional Certification will be considered as an additional asset.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI (Business Intelligence) Word, and PowerPoint (think cell add in) Computer literacy. Extensive emphasis on the ability to manage / control oversized data in excel environment and execute numerical analysis, are a prerequisite. Genuine interest in working with data analytics, experience on reconciliation processes and reasonability exercises.
  • Cooperated with professional data in various systems: SAP, Altamira, Midland, Oracle, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) System administrators / developers to expand system capacities.
  • Quantitative skills with in-depth knowledge of business dynamics to support management in making strategic decisions grounded on data analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting and profitability analysis, advanced controlling and problem-solving ability, accountability, teamworking skills and results orientation.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, communicate effectively, and deliver information (data – commentaries / clarifications etc) in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.
  • Attention to detail and numerical information, commitment to meet deadlines, and handle pressure especially in peak periods.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills /to communicate effectively and deliver information (data – commentaries / clarifications etc.) in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.
