Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, analytically strong and market-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join the Equity Research team of Eurobank Equities. We are looking for someone with a strong financial background, intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in financial markets; someone who enjoys analyzing companies, forming investment views and operating in the fast-paced environment of the capital markets.

By joining this role, you’ll become part of our multi-award-winning Equity Research team, contributing to the generation of actionable investment ideas across international equities, while also taking responsibility for the analysis, valuation and research coverage of Greek-listed companies.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Generate investment ideas across international equities, screening global markets, sectors and companies to identify attractive opportunities for our international equity portfolios.
• Support the construction and ongoing monitoring of international equity portfolios, assessing company fundamentals, earnings trends, valuations, catalysts, risks and broader market developments.
• Undertake primary research coverage of Greek-listed companies, with focus on the shipping sector, developing a detailed understanding of their business models, competitive positioning, industry dynamics and key value drivers.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts and company valuations for companies under primary coverage, translating financial and operational developments into clear investment recommendations.
• Produce high-quality research and communicate investment views, including company reports, earnings updates, investment ideas and thematic work, while engaging with company management teams, institutional investors and other capital-markets professionals.

You will be a great candidate if you:

• Have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within Equity Research, Asset Management, Markets, Treasury, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Advisory or another analytically demanding finance role. Prior exposure to equities or financial markets will be highly appreciated.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering or another quantitative field. A relevant postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.
• Have a strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance and valuation, together with solid financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Hold, or are working towards, a relevant professional qualification such as the CFA, which will be considered an advantage.
• Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and have familiarity with financial information platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ or similar tools.
• Have excellent written and spoken English, together with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, sound judgement and commercial thinking, combined with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, agility and a can-do attitude.
