Position Overview
We are seeking for a Development Programs Officer to join our Syndicated Debt Solutions & Development Programs Unit within our Corporate & Investment Banking General Division.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Development Programs Unit which explores, launches and subsequently structures and adapts to the needs of the Bank a variety of local and international development programs. As a Development Programs Officer you will be liaising with local and international institutions (indicatively EIB, EIF, Hellenic Development Bank) as well as with representatives of the Greek State within the context of preparation of the Bank for potential new development programs both for retail (business) and corporate clientele of the Bank and monitoring/ reporting existing development programs available. You will be responsible for assisting in the launching and structuring, in collaboration with the respective bank units, and internally promoting the selected development programs as well as monitoring and ensuring the smooth implementation of the programs.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Liaise with international and local institutions and representatives of the Greek State during the preparation of the Bank for a new development program as well as implementation of existing development programs.
- Assist in the coordination of internal teams (Business, Legal, Administration, Credit, Risk, etc.)for:
–The preparation of the selection file of the selected program
–Structuring and adapting the program to the needs of the Bank’s clientele
–Signing the respective contractual agreements with the program providers - Contribute to the preparation of the necessary presentation material to the management, business units and internal committees of the Bank regarding new programs and their features.
- Be actively involvement in the internal and external promotion, monitoring and reporting of the program at its launch and during its life.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
· At least 3 years of professional experience within an established organization in Banking or consulting industry or public/private institution out of which min 1-2 years in a relevant field
· Bachelor's and postgraduate degrees preferably in Finance or Business
· Relative experience in loan documentation and development programs (for businesses) procedures and communications
· Proficiency of the MS Office suite (especially xls and ppt applications)
· Fluency in English language
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, coordination skills, agility and can-do attitude
