Position Overview

We are seeking for a Data Visualization Engineer to join our Information Visualization Applications team, part of the Information Management, AI & Analytics Platforms Unit.

By joining this role, you’ll be part of a highly motivated team of Eurobank staff blended with outsourcers, who provides Business Intelligence services such as Data Management, Data Visualization and Reporting to internal customers in the organization, based on best practices and market leading BI tools.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Interacting with business stakeholders to understand / analyze business needs
• Producing functional specifications
• Designing & implementing data presentation solutions using data modelling, data management, reporting & visualization tools and techniques
• Collaborating with other IT teams
• Organizing & coordinating small teams in IT projects
• Supporting existing infrastructure & applications

You will be a great candidate for us if you:

• Hold a BSc and/ or MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
• Have 3-5 years of experience in the Financial Sector, preferably in Banking, with sound experience in IT / BI project implementation
• Experience in the following technologies is required: Microsoft SQL Server (2017+) incl.  SSIS, SSRS, SSAS , Microsoft Power BI
• Experience in the following technologies and platforms will be considered an asset: Microsoft Azure, Databricks
• Have strong SQL programming skills and solid experience in high-performance ETL process design
• Have excellent multidimensional modelling skills and advanced report design skills
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse principles & design (both Relational and Multi-Dimensional databases)
• Strong analytical thinking with good communication and team leading skills
• Self-motivation & ability to collaborate in a team
• Project management skills will be considered an asset
