Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to join our Information Visualization Applications team, a core pillar of the Information Management, AI & Analytics Platforms Unit.

By stepping into this role, you will join a highly motivated team of Eurobank professionals and specialized external partners. Together, we deliver enterprise-wide Business Intelligence services such as Data Management, Data Visualization and Strategic Reporting to internal stakeholders across the organization, using market- leading BI tools and industry best practices.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Interacting with business stakeholders to analyze, understand and translate business needs into robust functional and technical specifications
• Designing, implementing and optimizing data presentation solutions leveraging advanced data modelling, data management, and modern reporting & visualization tools and techniques
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless data integration, alignment with standards, and end-to-end data integrity
• Organizing & coordinating small teams in IT and analytics initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Maintaining and supporting existing infrastructure & applications, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and quality of service

You will be a great candidate for us if you:

• Hold a BSc and/ or MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or another relevant field
• Have 3-5 years of experience in the Financial Sector, preferably in Banking, with a solid track record in IT / BI project implementation
• Have deep technical expertise in Microsoft Power BI/ Microsoft Fabric alongside the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem (SQL Server 2017+, including SSIS for ETL, SSRS for paginated reporting, and SSAS for tabular/multidimensional models)
• Have practical experience or familiarity with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Azure cloud services platforms
• Have strong SQL programming skills coupled with hands-on experience in high-performance ETL process design and optimization. Familiarity with programming languages like Python for data manipulation and scripting is considered an asset
• Have advanced multidimensional and tabular data modeling skills, report design proficiency, and a strong foundational knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and principles
• Have strong analytical thinking with effective communication and team leading capabilities
• Embrace a mindset of self-motivation & willingness to collaborate in a blended team 
• Project management skills will be considered an asset
