Position Overview
We are seeking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our SOC team within the Group IT unit, and support the security of our banking services and platforms across on-premise data centers as well as public cloud environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a cybersecurity professional who already has hands-on experience and is looking to further develop architectural skills while working in a complex, regulated banking environment with experienced security specialists.
By joining this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of secure solutions, support the deployment of modern security technologies, and work closely with IT and security teams to ensure security best practices are consistently applied across projects.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Design and support security architectures for applications, systems, and infrastructure across retail, corporate, and digital banking services.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to embed secure-by-design principles throughout project delivery.
- Support the operation and effectiveness of security controls, contributing to risk assessments, threat analysis, and continuous security improvements.
- Evaluate and help implement security technologies and tools, including IAM, endpoint protection, encryption solutions, SIEM, and cloud security controls.
- Contribute to secure cloud, hybrid, and digital banking environments, including APIs, mobile applications, and core banking systems, while maintaining relevant documentation and guidelines.
You will be a great candidate if you:
- Have 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity roles within an established organization, with exposure to security architecture, solution design, or similar responsibilities.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hold relevant professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SABSA) completed or in progress, which will be highly appreciated.
- Are experienced in cyber defense concepts, secure solution design, and participation in cross-team IT security initiatives.
- Have solid understanding and interest in secure architecture patterns, network security, secure SDLC practices, and risk-based security approaches.
- Are proficient in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and traditional on-premise environments.
- Are familiar with security and regulatory standards such as PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, DORA, PSD2, or are motivated to learn them quickly.
- Are fluent in the English language.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
