Position Overview

We are seeking for a Corporate Relationship Officer to join our Business Center in Heraklion Crete, part of our Commercial Banking operations within Corporate & Investment Banking.

The objective of a Business Center (BC) is to build a strong holistic relationship with SMEs & Mid Caps (turnover > € 10mio) corporate clients, by providing both standard and tailor–made financing solutions and a range of ancillary products and services.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Client facing, business development, active marketing with local corporate clients in all sectors.
  • Preparation of credit approval proposals, periodic reviews, memos, and ad hoc presentations to the appropriate committees and management.
  • Cooperation with more senior team members regarding communication with internal teams (Legal, Loan Admin, etc.) and external parties (legal and technical advisors, valuators, etc.).
  • Active involvement in the full cycle of underwriting of financings, implementation, and day-to-day follow-up and monitoring.
  • Follow-up on the relevant markets from an investment and credit perspective.

 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field of study (a postgraduate degree will be considered an additional qualification).
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in credit evaluation and loan documentation (highly appreciated).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, agility, and a can-do attitude.
