Corporate Credit Risk Senior Analyst

 

We are seeking for an enthusiastic Corporate Credit Risk Senior Analyst to add value to our Credit Risk Management by actively participating in the credit evaluation of corporate and structured finance transactions. The successful candidate will report to a Team Leader of Corporate Credit Risk and shall work closely with various teams across the Bank.

 

By joining this role, you will be part of our Group Credit which is responsible to ring fence the Bank’s position with regards to credit risk mitigation and at the same time to safeguard the capital base of the Bank, whilst also maintaining a high asset quality and increased profitability. Group Credit acts as a liaison between our Business and Risk Units for all issues related to credit underwriting and is headed by the Group Chief Credit Officer.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests
  • Complete ratio, trend and cash flows analyses including financial projections
  • Carefully analyse data and produce an independent credit risk opinion based on the Bank’s credit policy and the General Division’s internal guidelines with analysis, findings, and recommendations to the Credit Committees
  • Participate in projects, including internal audits, external reviews by the regulators and formulation of operational guidelines

 

You will be a great candidate for us if you have:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Relationship Officer or Credit Analyst in a Large Corporate or a Bank or an Audit Firm
  • A postgraduate degree in Finance or Business Administration or a professional qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of English and Greek languages (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in MS office suite
