Position Overview

We are seeking for an enthusiastic individual for the position of Compliance Officer to join our Financial Crime Unit within the Group Compliance.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the Financial Crime Division Regulatory Capturing process, including reviewing current regulatory developments in the AML/CFT area and conducting Compliance Risk Assessment with respect to relevant obligations, in accordance with existing Group Compliance methodology.
  • Participate in the implementation of AML/CFT related Bank projects and other relevant initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Financial Crime Division monitoring process by participating in the conduct of relevant Quality Assurance Exercises and supporting its annual plan.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day tasks of the Financial Crime Division in accordance with its operating framework.

 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Law or a related discipline. Post graduate studies or professional qualifications will be considered as an additional asset.
  • At least 2-3 years relevant professional experience within an established organization in the financial or consulting industry. Having a good understanding and knowledge of the Regulatory Framework of the Financial Services Industry will be considered as an additional asset.
  • Good analytical thinking skills and be well-organized and methodical with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong team spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency of the MS Office suite.
  • Fluency in English.
