Position Overview

We are seeking for a talented and proactive Software Engineer to join our Cards Applications Team, part of Core Banking Platforms Unit. By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Cards Applications Team, responsible for ensuring the integrity of our data systems, optimizing transactional processes including loyalty, and contributing to new projects.


Your key responsibilities will be

1.            SQL Expertise:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights to support business decisions.

2.            Transaction Monitoring:

  • Monitoring systems to detect and prevent fraudulent activities for transactions.
  • Analyze transactional data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent behavior.

3.            Project Engagement:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Good knowledge in SQL programming and database management systems.
  • Experience in transaction monitoring and fraud detection techniques is a plus.
  • Prior experience in project management or engagement is a plus.
