Position Overview
We are seeking for an enthusiastic IT Systems Administrator to join our Incident Management Team, part of IS Support Unit. By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Incident Management Team responsible for ensuring the proper and the smooth operation of the IT applications used by the business units.
As an IT Systems Administrator you will monitor the Bank's systems through the installed monitoring mechanisms, and you will manage Incidents, ensuring that they are recorded, progressed, updated, expedited and resolved within the scope of the Service Level Agreement.
Your key responsibilities will be
- System monitoring of all production systems/applications on-premises, Azure, and private cloud infrastructure and applications
- Incident management: Handling tickets according to the ITIL process
- Applying workarounds for immediate service restoration, when possible, in case of a system or application failure
- Actively leading conference calls with other teams (service managers, vendors, etc.) to ensure fast service recovery
- Root cause analysis to determine the necessary actions for a permanent solution to the problem in each case
- Changing application configurations and executing promotions
You will be a great candidate if you:

You will be a great candidate for this role if you:
- Have more than 3 years of relevant professional experience within IT support units of the bank
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field of study
- Are experienced in configuring and troubleshooting to Windows and Linux operating systems
- Are experienced in configuring and troubleshooting to different application platforms such as JBoss, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Azure Web Apps, AKS etc
- Have solid understanding in infrastructure technologies as DNS, DHCP, AD etc
- Are Proficient of the ITIL processes and methodologies
- Are an active learner of Digital Accelerator modules
- Hold an Azure certification will be considered as an advantage
- Are fluent in Greek and English language
